Water
Beach Walk, Kroatien
2011
A closer look at the work
A paved waterfront promenade recedes into the distance. Trees shade seats on the left; small bathing platforms meet blue water on the right. Some people remain clear while others appear as pale movement traces. The panorama joins route, sea and stopping places.
Movement and staying are only temporarily separated. The path suggests direction, but platforms and shade repeatedly interrupt it. Different degrees of sharpness reinforce that alternation, presenting leisure as individual pauses along a continuous landscape.
