A closer look at the work
Golden light trails form broad loops before dark trees. Some scatter into small points, others make tightly interlocking curves. Ground and leaves remain recognisable around them. The densest light gathers centrally, with individual lines reaching towards the edges.
Drawn movement occupies a tangible woodland setting. Although the trails lack a solid surface, they claim space between the trees. They can be read as a temporary sculpture whose coherent form exists in the photograph, beside the more durable presence of trunks and ground.
