A closer look at the work
Parked cars crowd an elevated edge, their dark blue reflective bodies filling the foreground. Lit streets, buildings and cranes extend beyond, with a populated hillside at the right. The panorama joins different urban scales.
The view passes through an everyday parking area rather than an unobstructed lookout. Cars occupy proximity and block parts of the overview, making the standpoint concrete. Private vehicles, shared routes and construction coexist without being reduced to one judgement.
