A closer look at the work
Speakers, equipment cases and two bright screens fill a technical interior. Red, green and cool white light overlap their surfaces. Cables and controls connect larger rectangular bodies beneath a textured ceiling. Equipment dominates without a clearly visible operator.
A setting organised around sound becomes a visual construction. Its cases resemble an assemblage whose parts are functionally connected. The absence of a clear actor brings those relationships forward, revealing the material side of an experience usually approached through hearing.
