A large pink light circle hovers above dark rising building silhouettes. Its white centre lies beside a narrow tower entering the circle. Deep turquoise ground remains nearly featureless. Buildings gather below while the circle claims almost the frame's full width.
Light diminishes architectural scale without supplying a reliable measure. Curvature opposes angular silhouettes, brightness their closure. The eye tries to locate the appearance among sky, light and photographic surface. That uncertainty sustains the picture: familiar urban legibility is temporarily displaced by an optical form.
