A closer look at the work
A bright green-white band crosses the upper half. A pole, red signals and road markings remain clearly defined before it. A red drinks machine on the left sets a compact block against the extended light trace. The road leads towards the crossing movement and appears to stop there.
Two forms of time coexist. Fixed objects preserve their contours while passage becomes an extended surface. The signal mediates, turning movement into a rule for anyone waiting before it. The everyday machine remains particularly persistent. Its unremarkable stillness makes the bright band's speed bodily imaginable without fixing one position along its course.
