A closer look at the work
A pale vessel lies across the opposite bank. Dark building masses alternate with lit façades; a perforated, figure-like structure stands against the deep blue sky on the right. Lights lengthen into vertical bands on calm water. The wide frame gathers separate illuminations into a continuous shoreline.
Reflections form a second city organised more by colour than by walls. The vessel interrupts these vertical traces with its horizontal length and introduces another scale. Although spatially expansive, the view concentrates along a narrow zone between water and sky. The river reveals the built surroundings while loosening their fixed contours.
