The Infrared Journey
Moonset

A closer look at the work
A small human figure stands in an open low landscape beneath a bright point and pale glow in blue sky. Grass and uneven ground occupy the foreground. Haze obscures the distance while the figure remains a slim dark vertical.
The person provides scale without dominating the view. Smallness heightens the expanse of sky, yet also offers a position with which the viewer can relate. An imaginable standpoint meets space extending far beyond it.
