The Infrared Journey
Room of Mantra
2008
A closer look at the work
Pale grey haze lies over layered roofs and facades seen from above. Near windows remain visible while distant buildings merge into sky. Warm greys, muted greens and dark roof edges keep colour restrained.
Room of Mantra opens an association with inwardness or repetition without specifying it. Repeated facades lose detail with distance, allowing the city to appear both as many particular rooms and as a connected field beyond complete overview.
