Romance of Elements
Round the corner, Spanien
2004
A closer look at the work
Gold and red light paths form broad interlocking loops against night sky. Closely repeated small circles run horizontally from the left into larger arcs. Another bright trace rises near the left edge. Dark plants remain below, fine diagonal sky lines above.
Different radii turn movement into spatial form. Small repetitions and broad sweeps combine without making a fixed body. Their course can be followed but no certain beginning or end established. Against dark landscape, light builds its own architecture, making directional change visible through curves rather than a narrated action.
