Authentic Nature
Touched By Sound I, Deutschland
2010
A closer look at the work
Slender trunks stand behind dense foreground leaves. Yellow green light catches nearby surfaces, with small blue and violet areas farther back. A leaning trunk interrupts the vertical pattern. Vegetation filters every view into depth.
Touched By Sound suggests listening while presenting a visual setting. Light and plants form repetitions and interruptions that can be approached as rhythm. Changed illumination reorganises a familiar place without requiring the photograph to represent an actual sound.
