A closer look at the work
A human figure stands before intense white yellow backlight. Its outline appears displaced and repeated within a red pink field. Grassy ground and a thin foreground line remain visible; face and clothes are less legible than the upright posture.
Overlapping contours show movement without separating it into successive frames. The figure is both body and trace. Trance Dance offers an association, not certainty about the person's experience, leaving presence and dissolution in light in tension.
