Authentic Nature
Two characteristics, Spanien
A closer look at the work
One tree stands on a largely open, warmly illuminated surface. Its golden crown reaches into deep-blue sky where a bright moon has a soft halo. A dark tree line follows the horizon. Broad ground separates the nearby tree clearly from distance.
Two Characteristics joins two different centres. The crown branches from a trunk; the moon appears as a small closed body of light. Warm and cool divide the view without separating it completely. A comparison develops from visible properties: extent, brightness and distance shape the relationship between a nearby earthly form and a remote point in the sky.
