Water
Two Windows Of Osaka
2016
A closer look at the work
A broad pale pier divides two views. A low house and distant towers appear left; an illuminated curving walkway leads into the city right. Dark road beams span both. The railing casts regular shadows onto the pier, linking route and fixed surface.
The openings offer different possibilities: a framed counterpart on one side, walkable continuation on the other. The central support separates and belongs to both. The title suggests windows without needing glass. Construction removes space while making particular relationships visible within what remains.
