Time Flies
Who I Am, Deutschland
2011
A closer look at the work
Pale garments hang closely in the foreground. Indistinct human forms merge with the displayed fabric beneath trees and a light sky. Blue white surfaces dominate, interrupted by small patterns and a clearer head near the right edge.
Who I Am directs attention towards identity without defining one person. The boundary between clothes and wearer remains uncertain. Fabric supplies possible outer forms while people are harder to grasp, raising a question about how much an outward appearance can reveal.
