The Infrared Journey — Somewhere in Between
THE MUSEUM OF THE FUTURE
A closer look at the work
The Museum of the Future’s oval opening creates a clear view through a densely inscribed façade. Black lettering follows its curved surface. Slender towers stand on the left, while pink palms and shrubs draw a second, irregular contour below. The broad turquoise sky separates the differently shaped buildings.
The photograph brings rounded architecture into contact with the vertical order of its neighbours. The opening matters as much as the built mass, allowing sky to appear within the building. Seen from a distance, writing becomes texture before it becomes readable language. Attention moves between sign, surface and space, presenting the future as an already designed part of the urban present.
