The Infrared Journey — Somewhere in Between
Hidden Luminescence
Artwork text and archival details
Sometimes, what is hidden illuminates our deepest dreams—our fears, our desires. A snake, coiling through the shadows of our nightly thoughts, often whispers a warning: Fascinating at first glance, yet its presence in a dream hints at a deeper danger. It reminds us that not everything that glimmers is harmless.
In relationships, as in dreams, there are moments of doubt, subtle premonitions. Everything may seem perfect, trust strong, yet beneath the surface, there lurks an uncertainty—like the snake in the subconscious. Its smooth movement, glowing faintly in the light of the dream, hints at something unsaid, something that weaves its way through deceit, perhaps even betrayal. It’s a sign to be vigilant, to recognize the warning signals before the venom of disappointment takes effect.
"Hidden Luminescence" captures this fleeting feeling—the shimmering beauty that suddenly reveals itself as an illusion. Like the snake in the dream, which both fascinates and warns, this moment reminds us to stay alert. Sometimes, what we cannot see in the dark is precisely what can hurt us the most. A gentle glow can be deceiving; it promises light, yet what it reveals can expose the deepest cracks in a connection.
In both dreams and reality—the snake is a symbol of the hidden. Its presence in our dreams calls on us to be cautious, before we fully give in, before we trust blindly. For what lies in the shadows can, like an unexpected bite, catch us off guard.
"Hidden Luminescence"—a reminder that the most beautiful dreams sometimes conceal the most dangerous secrets.
