The Infrared Journey — Somewhere in Between
Wings Over the Moldau in Prague
A closer look at the work
Pigeons rise densely from the lower edge over blue water. Pink wings occupy many angles; some bodies stay sharp while others merge into motion. A pale platform covered with bread lies below, and a lone swan moves away above, leaving a clear wake. The vertical crop connects near concentration to increasing openness.
Two movement patterns meet: interrupted flight paths and the swimmer's continuous trace. Bread makes human intervention visible even though people barely appear. Unfamiliar colour links food, wings and reflections. Individual bodies nevertheless remain distinguishable, allowing apparent disorder to be read as many simultaneous directions rather than a predetermined story of harmony.
