The Flow of Harmony

A closer look at the work

Round water-lily leaves recede along the left edge. Dark water opens between their violet and pink surfaces. A single turquoise flower creates a sharp, bright accent near the centre. On the right, an almost black diagonal plane bounds the narrow area of water, providing a clear counterpart to the organic grouping.

Colour singles out the flower, yet it remains part of a network of overlaps and distances. Leaves touch, form rows and leave small gaps. Harmony appears as a provisional relationship between different forms rather than complete uniformity. Looking can follow the sequence while also pausing at the individual element that interrupts its rhythm.

Personal consultation

The work, the space, the presentation.

What interests you about this work? I take time for your questions, its origins and its place in a collection. Together, we explore differences between works and their relationship with space, light and architecture.

Size, selected materials and bespoke framing are carefully coordinated. The precise presentation develops through our conversation.

A photograph of the intended space can help us consider scale and placement.
