Echo of a Lost Dream

Artwork text and archival details

Amidst the surreal landscape, nestled between golden trees, rests the old boat – a symbol of all those dreams that once propelled us forward, yet were left behind along the path of life. It reminds us that life is a constant flow, a sea of aspirations and goals. Some dreams are like vessels that carry us to unknown horizons, but not all reach their destination. Some remain, stranded on the shores of forgetfulness, slowly overtaken by the relentless growth of time.

The nature enveloping the boat reveals a profound truth: even when we abandon our dreams, something new emerges, something larger than ourselves. It is an image of transience and a reflection of life itself – what we leave behind transforms, becoming part of a greater whole. Sometimes, letting go is itself an act of creation, binding us to the eternal cycle of nature. Just as the boat becomes woven into the earth, so we, too, are woven into the fabric of life – a metaphor for the beauty of fading and constant renewal.
