Temple of Eternity

A closer look at the work

A large dome rises through haze above a low band of golden trees. In front lies a broad turquoise expanse of water, with boats at several distances. The largest boat runs across the composition and carries a dense sequence of small figures. The architecture remains pale while people on the water form dark accents.

The work text identifies the building as the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium in Mayapur. The photograph places its monumental scale beside smaller movements in the foreground. Water and vegetation separate the two levels, yet one view embraces both. A lasting architectural reference point meets the temporary positions of boats and travellers.

Personal consultation

The work, the space, the presentation.

What interests you about this work? I take time for your questions, its origins and its place in a collection. Together, we explore differences between works and their relationship with space, light and architecture.

Size, selected materials and bespoke framing are carefully coordinated. The precise presentation develops through our conversation.

A photograph of the intended space can help us consider scale and placement.
