The Infrared Journey — Somewhere in Between
The Heart of the Island
Artwork text and archival details
Captured in spring on Peacock Island – a place where time slows and the wind seems to carry memories. This tree stood before me like a heart made of wood. Its branches stretched in every direction, not as if growing – but remembering.
Under the eye of infrared light, it began to glow. Not just in color, but in feeling. A portrait of rootedness. Of the many held within the one. Of what remains when all else fades.
A silent guardian of the island – between stillness and bloom.
