The Infrared Journey — Somewhere in Between

Karlsruhe Palace

Karlsruhe Palace

Artwork text and archival details

At the heart of Karlsruhe, the palace stands as the city’s point of origin – its streets radiating like sunbeams from a single idea. Captured here in infrared, the baroque façade dissolves into fire and pastel.

In the shallow mirror of a puddle, the world turns upside down. The palace becomes both memory and mirage, a quiet witness to centuries of symmetry and change.

Sometimes, the truest perspective is found when you look down.

Personal consultation

The work, the space, the presentation.

What interests you about this work? I take time for your questions, its origins and its place in a collection. Together, we explore differences between works and their relationship with space, light and architecture.

Size, selected materials and bespoke framing are carefully coordinated. The precise presentation develops through our conversation.

A photograph of the intended space can help us consider scale and placement.
