A closer look at the work

A violet-grey mound fills the foreground. A pale bucket and dark articulated excavator arm rise above it, a chain draped over the bucket. A coral tree stands against even blue sky on the right. A low platform and cropped train add a horizontal level below. Machine and tree answer each other as unlike rising forms.

No definite working sequence can be established. Material, tool and setting instead remain in spatial tension. Rough earth is near; smooth metal almost glows above. The tree counters the mechanical joint with branching form. Urban transformation is one possible reading: different orders occupy the same place while its future state remains outside the frame.

Personal consultation

The work, the space, the presentation.

What interests you about this work? I take time for your questions, its origins and its place in a collection. Together, we explore differences between works and their relationship with space, light and architecture.

Size, selected materials and bespoke framing are carefully coordinated. The precise presentation develops through our conversation.

A photograph of the intended space can help us consider scale and placement.
