The Tree That Remembers Light

A closer look at the work

A pale trunk stands immediately beside the left edge. Rough bark and broad branch joints are clearly visible; finer twigs cross a green-blue sky farther back. Red foliage fills the gaps. The photograph connects the almost tactile proximity of wood with a deeper, densely coloured setting.

The tree is neither fully surveyed nor isolated as a silhouette. Its body extends beyond the crop while branches lead the eye in several directions. The title suggests a connection between light and memory. This can be approached through the surface: grooves, branching and changes in brightness preserve visible differences without revealing a complete history of the tree.

Personal consultation

The work, the space, the presentation.

What interests you about this work? I take time for your questions, its origins and its place in a collection. Together, we explore differences between works and their relationship with space, light and architecture.

Size, selected materials and bespoke framing are carefully coordinated. The precise presentation develops through our conversation.

A photograph of the intended space can help us consider scale and placement.
