ART IN ARCHITECTURE

Photography as a spatial partner of architecture.

I develop large-format photographic works in dialogue with architecture, light, movement, and use. A work should not simply be inserted into a space. It should transform its perception and become a distinctive part of its identity.

01 · APPROACH
Art that belongs to its place.
Photographic art can create orientation, atmosphere and identity wherever architecture becomes a lived environment.

Image, scale, material and placement are developed as one spatial composition. The result is an autonomous artwork that responds to architecture without becoming decoration.

02 · APPLICATIONS
Fields of application
Corporate spaces — Representative artworks for foyers, boardrooms and work environments.
Residential developments — Site-specific concepts for shared spaces, entrances and selected interiors.
Public buildings — Photographic works for institutions, cultural buildings and places of encounter.
Existing architecture — Artistic interventions that give existing rooms a new perceptual centre.

03 · PROCESS
From first conversation to installation.
01 Context and objective — Clarify site, architecture, users, schedule and the desired spatial effect.
02 Develop the artistic concept — Select imagery or develop a site-specific photographic approach.
03 Define scale and presentation — Coordinate format, sequence, material, colour effect and placement.
04 Coordinate production — Accompany technical implementation with architecture, planning and production partners.
05 Installation and handover — Final placement in the space and documentation of the realised work.

LONG-TERM COLLABORATION
Art in Architecture for Mobimo AG, Zurich
The collaboration developed since 2012 exemplifies my approach: large-format photographic works are conceived from the architectural context and precisely developed for their spatial situation.
