A closer look at the work
Light enters dense woodland from the upper left. Broad leaves, slender trunks and an arching growth covered in vegetation occupy the space. Dark greens gather below while fine structures catch the light above. Ground remains visible only in fragments.
The arch can resemble an unbuilt entrance without actually marking a path. This resemblance connects observation with spatial imagination. Seeking a passage, the eye encounters layers instead, revealing how readily plant forms suggest openings and boundaries.
