A closer look at the work
A close group appears in deep red. Several people hold fabric before faces or hands near heads; a foreground figure turns sideways. Shining garments, jewellery and skin provide small distinctions within shared colour. Overlap leaves no clear ground between bodies.
Gestures distinguish more than colour. Red joins a field while hands, directions and folds stay individual. Proximity becomes the bodily condition of a shared situation without prescribing one collective feeling. Attention can move among reactions, recognising experiences that coexist but remain only partly accessible.
