A closer look at the work
A tall arrangement of leaves, flowers and coloured objects rises centrally within a crowd. Metal vessels are lifted around it, their cool gleam contrasting with skin and pink haze. The centre is sharper than the background; heads and arms gather below.
Many directions converge on one focus. Vessel, hand or leaf can be followed, but attention returns to the upright centre. Shared activity appears without a cultural explanation of each act. A concentrated object meets moving surroundings; overlap produces proximity while haze makes depth increasingly uncertain.
