A closer look at the work
An interior courtyard opens beneath a dark upper zone. Strong overhead lights reveal a pink cloud above a dense crowd. Railings and wall openings organise the upper half; blurred bodies and bright accents gather below.
Light links height and ground without revealing both evenly. The cloud becomes a spatial form between architecture and people. The photograph also presents the medium through which the gathering becomes visible: brightness is admitted, scattered and partially concealed.
