Reflections of India
Pilgrim on Purple Dust 6, Indien
2014
A closer look at the work
Two women walk together in strongly contrasting garments: warm orange in front, green and pink pattern behind. Both have covered heads. Pale pink ground leaves hands, steps and falling fabric edges clearly visible.
Similar silhouettes create rhythm through different colours. The gaze alternates between pattern and shared direction. A common route does not erase individual posture or appearance; each body articulates the frame in its own way.
