A closer look at the work
Two people cross a narrow lit strip before an almost black background. A woman in patterned yellow clothing leads; a man follows with a raised bundle. Side light describes faces, fabric and limbs, withholding most surroundings.
Walking and carrying become physical tasks. Fabric and load affect posture, while the narrow ground resembles a stage through lighting alone. Movement and weight form a specific arrangement whose wider context remains beyond the visible field.
