Pilgrimage as movement through the frame
A path disappears into pale mist, with walkers spaced along its depth. A dark branch anchors the upper edge. Rather than isolating one person, the photograph makes distance, direction and shared movement its formal subjects.
Parikrama is the ritual circumambulation of a revered place; Vrindavan has a documented route of its own. This morning scene presents the practice as movement through an inhabited setting, where a devotional route and an ordinary road can coincide.
