A closer look at the work
A narrow illuminated sign carries coloured letters against a dark facade. The elongated vertical frame follows it closely. Warm yellow light gathers below, with cooler strong colours above. Small architectural projections interrupt its direction.
A word becomes the architecture of looking: reading follows the axis organising the image. Meaning and material appearance remain distinct. Advertising appears simultaneously as language, a source of light and part of a city facade.
